No Basix just says you need to have at least 2 zones. If you have 7 zones it will be fine as that is better than 2 as you can…

I believe both offer the same reliability but if I was choosing between the 2 I would go with the Platinum Plus as that is a newer model.

I have upgraded to the ESP Plus System for my new house with 8 zones + the Wi-Fi Module.
I also sell these units and I believe it is worth upgrading…

The Actron ESP Plus System is definitely more energy efficient provided you have lots of zones as it allows you to run as little as 2 outlets at a time…
