Are you sure about that for Vic FHOG? Pretty sure its land + construction 750k limit as well?

thats actually messed up. You can knock down rebuild something up to 1.5 mill but cant build a new home for more then 750k

I agree there is a double standard. The 750k limit will just result in propping up volume builders + land developers, putting up poorly built houses in outer suburban areas

Hopefully they relax some of the requirements for $$ caps then. Unfortunately the price limit on current FHOG's really cater for the price point of these volume builders. Pretty tricky…
