Frye- yep I get your point. And that's what we concluded must be the reason. But surely it's not $1300 worth of extra work? It's the amount the staggers me.

When you say it is for paint are you meaning this sounds reasonable? Or meaning increasing the cost to $1300 is too much just for paint?
