We got a small discount off the base price when we put our deposit down for the tender. In 2016.

Hi
Been in our place over a year now, still checking in now and again to follow some of the builds, like yours!

Nope.
Standard they put 2 at the front and one at the back.

We have a solar HWS as there is no natural gas here. We originally had a heat pump system planned but we couldn’t get the basix cert without switching to…

Agreed Yara.
Stick with base model and put the upgrade cost towards solar after handover, then the majority of your aircon cost is free anyway.
We paid for an extra zone- prob…

Just ask your SS. It’s not exactly more work for them if they’re putting a batten light there anyway, he might do you a favour.
When we built W didn’t offer…

You can just pay for an extra control pad with the base model.

Chase them up. They didn’t come to us until we did.

I know the feeling but the bricks cost about $600 a pallet so it’s not small change we’re talking about

Sell the bricks.
We sold ours on marketplace for a few hundred, easily.
I agree the NBN provisioning is a rip off.
Enjoy your new home

The mirror sizes will be on the bathroom plans in your end panel. We didn’t upgrade any but got a full length one in our en-suite, I think because the…

It’s usually hundreds, not thousands. It was included in our build (Wisdom homes).

That isn’t true. You may get charged more due to council or basix requirements, if they hit rock during your build etc etc.
There is no point fighting the charge…

Everyone building in a new estate gets charged this. Not sure why W don’t include it in the tender to start with.

You should get 2 wall supports for Tvs included. Something to check with your SS once frames are done.

That is definitely not surfmist. Surfmist is close to white. Could be colourbond dune? Or even half strength.

Hi, the build took 29 weeks from slab to PCI.
We are happy, love the house. A few outstanding maintenance items (slow process after handover) but nothing major.
