We laid Emerald Kikuyu seed a few years ago. Does not need to be mown often. Doesn't seem to grow high.
Doesn't need much water either!

Seasol + Powerfeed + water. Not sure what else you can do.
If you're going to fertilise it, go lightly with something organic.

Wow, Endothal is awesome stuff. Totally destroyed the wintergrass. Kikuyu still going strong. Fu was right - it doesn't affect Kikuyu.

Oh, and I just used less than the recommended amount: about 2ml in a 2 litre sprayer.

Well according to Fu above I just spot sprayed the winter grass with endothal in my kikuyu. Guess we'll see if it kills the kikuyu. Hoping not.
