It can be in the same spot, just not so big. Are formal lounge rooms really needed or used? It's up to you how you'll use your home.

Place is massive....huge study, media and pool. Nice.
Will the lounge at front get used much? It's bigger than living area.
I'd also think about having a separate WC from the bathroom…

Maybe something like this?.... slightly less WIW space, but more storage. Also larger shower (perhaps double).
Not perfect but with a long bedroom size and entry in the middle, it makes…

One thing I don't like about that is the diagonal direction you have to walk from Bed1 to the ensuite.

Seems kinda narrow. Maybe get the measuring tape out and see if you like it.

That's a lot of basalt. Concerned it might be quite dark for a narrow facade.

Overall looks good. Master ensuite appears massive.
How wide is the hallway between stairs and media room? That looks a bit narrow.
Is the upstairs void to let light in…

Why does the door for the WC open outward into the passage way? And into the direction of bed 4 doorway.

Somewhere closer to the bedrooms and main bathroom.
I think if you want to reduce the overall size, maybe lose one of the bedrooms or make the rumpus smaller.

You'll need an extra toilet if you're going to have 5 beds. Bed 5 and laundry don't seem to be in the ideal spots.

Front render vs no render

It's personal choice. On modern homes it can look very nice. Others do a combination of render. brick and cladding/stack stone.

Render Colours - help!

I would stick with more warmer tones to blend in with both doors.
Agree a lighter colour for the porch and darker for the rest but not too heavy.
Cladding looks fine.

Maybe stick with some of the cool whites like Lexicon or White on White.

Brick one of the Austral range i'd guess.

The garage floor will most likely be a lower level than the rest of the house. The other option is maybe a sliding door?

Most of it looks good. Only thing I don't like is the garage entry door swinging open into the space of the stairway entrance.

Excuse the rough drawing....but what about converting the lounge to a bedroom? And reconfig the entry so you get a double garage.

Dune is fine. Very popular choice. Although it's not a dark colour. Whether it suits depends on what else you do with the home colour wise.
