We are fast approaching handover. Just want to draw a line where we can say yes/no on pending work at settlement. What are your thought / experience / recommendation?

We faced similar problem only a small amount though. Demo guys told us about it and took them away without additional charge.
I guess 10 tonnes is a bit much.

Have you tried lodging a complaint to Building Advice & Conciliation Victoria ?
I am sure builders don't want the trouble of answering to BACV.
