The best option for doing this is to use the box that the TV came in. If you no longer have that box, there's no need to worry, you can easily pack your TV with just a few items of packaging that you can easily find at a hardware store such as Bunnings or a specialist packing supplies store.
Firstly you need to unplug all the cables from the back of the TV. It's handy to label these as you go, as well as the corresponding socket, so that you remember where they are go when it comes time to reconnect. Keep all of these cables together in a safe place.
Next, cut a piece of cardboard the size of the TV screen and tape this over the screen. Then wrap the entire TV in a layer of packing paper, taping it into place. Next wrap the TV in a layer of bubble wrap taking care to cover the corners. Next, wrap the TV in a furniture blanket, folding it over at all corners of the TV to provide extra protection - tape the blanket in place. With these four layers of wrapping in place you are now ready to wrap the TV in a cardboard box. If you have one the right size, great. If not then tape cardboard around the TV to form a box shape. Once in the box, secure closed with box straps and label.
