Two More Kinds of Carpet Fibre - Acrylic and Wool
By Rug Affair|November 20, 2009
Acrylic
A soft synthetic fibre with a “wool like” feel. Like wool it is a spun yarn, and can therefore shed some fibres especially when new. It takes dye solutions very well and is ideal when rug designs require the use of vibrant colours.
Wool
A soft fibre with natural resistance to fire and soiling. You should expect some shedding from your new wool rug, how much will depend upon the quality of the yarn used in the manufacture of that rug. Wool rugs will vacuum easily.
Remember to enquire into the kind of fibre from which your carpet was made. Different fibres make for different floors...
My leather couch had turn dirty due to my pets. I recently hired this company and they turned my couch into a completely new couch. Highly recommended! Read more about :- http://cleansleep.com.au/upholstery-cleaning-canberra
